Fender's String Garden!/漂浮小星球

If anyone says to me again that florist is female's profession, Now I have very strong proofhat Man can also do it nicely!
Using the Japanese Kokedama techniques, Fedor Van der Valk build up such a beautiful garden in the air.

This one is my favorite, reminding of the pear tree around my grandma's house and the sweet spring air!!

I always thought big trees need bigger space, but all these different plants seem to be able to grow in this magic little earth!

Fedor is from Holland, and has been
fascinated by plants and nature at large
                          since being a little child.
He really wants to know how the plants
feel when restricted in such a little space.
Well, I really think he has a special way to
communicate with all of them, and the
plants really love this feeling of flying in
                          the air.
Look at them, they grow so beautifully!

Nausicaa's pure garden/娜乌西卡的纯净花园

   photos from landezine

This Earthscape Lab at Beppu, Japan just reminds of Nausicaa's garden in the Valley of the Wind. The original inspiration for the researchers is almost the same as that of Nausicaa, experimenting on the environmental capability among plants, animals and human beings. And they really use the onset (hot spring) to nurture all the plants. Look at them, they grow so beautifully!!
